Principle
This website is built to collect as little data as possible. No cookies are set and no advertising services are embedded. Fonts and images sit on the same server as the site.
Server log files
When you open the site, our web server processes the connection data that is technically necessary: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the status code and the identifier sent by your browser. This data is required in order to deliver the site and to keep operations secure.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of the site. The logs are deleted after seven days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate a specific incident.
Hosting
The site runs on a server operated by us in a data centre in Germany. The infrastructure provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestrasse 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. No transfer to third countries takes place.
Encryption
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The certificates come from Let's Encrypt and are renewed automatically.
Getting in touch
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once the matter is closed and no statutory retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access to the data processed (Article 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Article 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR)
Regardless of this, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
